Not far from the cottage you can find the start of the walk to Kirkaig falls which is also the start of the walk to the base of Suilven for the more adventurous. It takes around 2 hours to walk to the falls and back again and you will be rewarded with some spectacular scenery along the way before reaching the impressive falls.
